About this deal

Even though the result hardly has anything to do with fruity notes, it is too sharp to my nose, almost like an expensive soap, but nothing like you might be expecting from a gorgeous bottle like this. EDIT: wearing it now in the colder weather, I find that it's not very long lasting and the sillage is poor. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Quite a strong and harsh opening but thankfully it quickly settles into a light and inoffensive scent. Along with a freshness lent from freesia, the tuberose feels relatively real, and doesn't get lost in a abstract fruity floral sweetness like some fragrances do.

Jeu d'Amour Eau de Parfum is an ultra feminine scent for women by the world-renowned fashion house Kenzo. If you're interested in a big tuberose, but at the same time not too difficult to wear, Jeu d'Amour could be a lovely option.

maybe it's me, but I think there is something wrong with the composition of tuberose, pomegranate and tea! Designer Karim Rashid created a bottle with soft sensual curves to mimic the enveloping scents contained within. I don't like freesia and it irritates me in a perfume and here makes no exception – it's fresh but it's so sharp and it makes every perfume too retro smelling. Just received this today and the same day I received it, I gave it away to a friend lol, its not a terrible scent but its a very one dimensional, synthetic white floral fragrance without any presence or lasting power. I love Pure Poison, but it has that sad note, something nostalgic, whereas this one is cheerful, positive, uplifting, happy. She starts with an alcohol-laced Citrus burst courtesy of the Mandarin Orange and ends with a thin trail of Freesia for the remainder of her stay - inoffensive, but unremarkable. The early transition between opening and drydown was not particularly impressive, but the fragrance grew increasingly lovelier, until I later caught a lightly sweet and powdery, slightly musky scent that strongly reminded me of something. Clean fragrance, without too many frills, passe-partout, I could not place Jeu d'Amour properly in a specific or more suitable season than another.

Our unparalleled selection of premium products include ranges from cosmetics to confectionery, fragrances to fashion accessories, spirits to souvenirs, skincare to sunglasses, fine foods to fine wines and champagne.

And finally freesia gives a special, clean and modern feel, which is hardly found in perfumes of white flowers. This green fruity floral opens with a luminous Pear and Lemon blossom accord, then reveals a fresh floral heart of Tuberose and Freesia.

It opens with top notes of blackberry and Mandarin orange, heart notes of jasmine and tuberose, and base notes of rum, vanilla, patchouli, caramel, and sandalwood. There is a really nice balance of lightly floral, sweet, fresh, fruity with a delicate creamy base and a touch of powder. It has been on me for 2 days already, it has a trail, not overpowering, very feminine (warm, delicate). By using a higher concentration of fragrant oils, Eau de Parfum is more potent and takes longer to evaporate, meaning you won't have to reapply as often. After I sprayed it, it smelled wonderful - juicy, not too sweet, slightly powdery, very interesting and sensual.Sandalwood appears in the base and it makes the scent a bit warmer and musk is barely noticeable too and it gives Jeu D'Amour kind of a soapy note. It's very pretty, don't wear it with anything sweet or the sweetness will bring out the bitter, let it be, soft and floral. I first thought it was the most generic "smelled it before" perfume out there but found myself wearing it everyday and enjoying it. It's interesting to see that several other reviewers have mentioned a similarity between this and Avon perfumes, because as soon as I smelled it, the first thought that poppied into my head was 'this smells exactly like an Avon perfume' (although I couldn't say which one as it's been years since I tried any). Jeu d'Amour Eau de Toilette, a new version, comes out in early 2015, and says: "Play, smile, seduce and deceive again .
