Local Plan 2036 (City) and Transport Strategy (City)

HAVE YOUR SAY! The new Local Plan, called City Plan 2036, sets out the City Corporation’s vision, strategy and objectives for planning for the next 20 years, together with policies that will guide future decisions on planning applications. Once adopted, the new Plan will replace the current City of London Local Plan adopted in January 2015.

The City of London Corporation is also consulting on its very first Transport Strategy.

Both strategies sets out how we propose to design and manage the City to ensure the Square mile remains a great place to live, work, study and visit. It has been developed to help enable the growth of the City as a global financial centre and its development as a major cultural destination.
