To help improve air quality, an Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) will be in place in central London from 8 April 2019 in the same area as the Congestion Charge. Most vehicles including cars and vans will need to meet new, tighter exhaust emission standards (ULEZ standards) or be liable for a daily charge to drive within the ULEZ area.
The Mayor of London has launched a scrappage scheme to help tackle London’s air quality crisis. It will support micro businesses and charities as they prepare for the arrival of the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).
Transport for London is coming to speak to charities and micro-businesses in Aldgate about the scrappage scheme. Drop in to either session and find out more and how to access the scheme:
Thursday 28th March, 12:30 – 2pm, East End Homes, 3 Resolution Plaza, E1 6PS
Wednesday 3rd April, 5 – 6:30pm, Artizan Street Library, E1 7AF
